Terms of sale
What you're buying
Product development is sold as an annual licence, paid in full or in 12 monthly instalments, for one person on one computer at a time. These are the terms of that sale. They match what the software does, and they agree with the licence file inside your copy.

What you are buying
A licence to install and use Product development, for your own work or for the organisation that bought it. It is sold as an annual licence, paid in advance, at the price shown in your currency when you buy, with tax added where it applies. You pay for the year in full, or in 12 monthly instalments, each invoiced in advance. Paying for the year in full costs at least 15% less than 12 instalments. If you pay in instalments, you owe the whole year once the licence starts. Stopping the instalments doesn't cancel what's owed. Your licence renews into the next year by default, paid the same way. You can turn renewal off on your licence screen before the year ends. While card payments aren't open, renewal sends you an invoice. It never charges a card.
Our prices are set before tax. At checkout, Stripe Tax adds any VAT or sales tax due, worked out from your billing address. If you buy for a business and give its tax number, the reverse charge applies and no tax is added. We send your invoice and receipt.
At checkout you agree to these terms. If you buy as a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of buying and have a full refund. You keep this right even after you've downloaded Product development. After 30 days, your one-year contract commitment becomes final and irrevocable, instalments included.
- One seat. One person, on one computer at a time.
- The seat moves. Install on a new computer and Product development offers to bring the seat there. So that nobody who has merely seen a copy of your licence can take it from you, the move is confirmed with a six-digit code sent to the address you bought with. The computer that gave up the seat says so, and can take it back the same way. Moves are limited over any thirty days: enough for a new laptop, not enough to share one licence around.
- For as long as you like. The licence does not expire. Your copy keeps working, on your computer, at the version it is entitled to, whether or not you ever pay again, unless it has been changed in a way the licence doesn't allow.
Who can buy
You can buy Product development if you live in, or your company is incorporated in, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or the United States. Product development asks where before you buy, and won't sell anywhere else. If your company has branches or subsidiaries in the Gulf, you may use Product development for their work too. Your company buys the licence and holds it.
Trying it first
A copy downloaded without buying runs free for fourteen days, with nothing to pay and no card asked for. The fourteen days start the first time it does any work, not the day you download it. The clock is kept by our licence server against your installation, so reinstalling does not restart it. When the trial ends the copy stops until you buy.
Updates
Your licence includes every update while it is paid up. Each paid instalment brings a month of updates. A year paid in full brings twelve months. New versions arrive on their own: Product development looks once a day unless you set it to weekly or turn it off. A fix for a security problem is applied without waiting for you.
If an instalment is missed, or the year ends, your copy keeps working exactly as it does that day, unless it has been changed in a way the licence doesn't allow, and it shows that it is missing security and product updates. New versions stop arriving, security fixes included, and so does reaching the dashboard from your phone, which runs for as long as updates do. Paying what's owed brings the updates back. A late instalment pays for its own month, so updates run on from where the months you paid for end. The software always works without a current licence, unless it has been changed in a way the licence doesn't allow. Only the updates stop.
Renewal. Your licence renews into the next year by default, paid the same way. You can turn renewal off on your licence screen before the year ends. While card payments aren't open, renewal sends you an invoice. It never charges a card. We keep no card on file.
What Product development does not do
- It does not decide for you. Accepting a proposal, waiving a check, graduating a product and overriding a rule are yours. The agents are refused them by the program, not merely asked not to.
- It certifies nothing. A check recorded as passing means one stated procedure produced one stated result, and nothing more. No ledger, audit record or exported document, including a governance pack, is an assurance that anything is secure, lawful, compliant, safe with personal data, or bounded in what it costs to run. Review what it produces before you rely on it, ship it or merge it, and take security, legal and data-protection advice from people qualified to give it.
- It does not push a run's code straight to your main branch. Code goes to a pull request, and a merge waits for your repository's own checks. Whether it then merges without asking you is the autonomy setting, which is yours to choose. What finally stops anything going round that is branch protection on your repository, a setting only you can switch on.
- It does not hold your code or your keys. It runs on your computer and in your own GitHub repositories. The Claude token that scheduled runs use lives in your own repository's secrets. Your products and their contents are not sent to Polyglyph Analytica.
- It uses your own Claude subscription. Product development is a plugin for Claude Code and runs on the Claude plan you already have, which must include Claude Code. That plan is not included in the price, and Anthropic's own terms and usage limits apply to it. Each run carries a spending ceiling, and a schedule turns itself off when your plan's limit is reached rather than retrying, but the allowance it draws on is yours. Product development is not affiliated with Anthropic.
- It does not pretend the agents cannot be wrong. The rules that matter are enforced by the program, by hooks and by audits rather than by instructions to a model, and some things still depend on a model's judgement. The
CONTAINMENT.mdfile in your copy says which is which.
What you make with it is yours
Everything Product development produces for you — your products, their code, their requirements, their ledgers, and the documents the dashboard exports — is yours. Polyglyph Analytica claims no ownership of it and no licence to it.
The padlock address
The dashboard runs on your computer and is reached at a local address. So that the address can carry a padlock and work with passkeys, it can also be reached as local.ekadant.polyglyphanalytica.com, a name that points to your own computer and nowhere else. The certificate for that name, and its private key, are shared by every licensed copy. They prove only that the name maps to your machine. Treat them as part of the product, not as a secret of yours: nothing under that name ever leaves your computer.
What you may not do
You may not copy, share, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise make Product development available to anyone else, including the licence file inside your copy and your download link. You may not use one licence on more computers than it allows. You may not change, decompile or reverse engineer it to get round the licence check, the seat, the integrity check or any limit in the licence, and you may not remove its copyright or licence notices. You may change the instructions Product development's agents follow, for your own use. Changing anything else in your copy stops it working until the copy we supplied is restored. Passing a changed copy on is not allowed.
You may change the instructions Product development's agents follow, for your own use of Product development. You may not change Product development, or any part of it, so that it does work another Polyglyph Analytica product does, or uses a feature, rule pack or capability your licence doesn't include. If a copy has been changed in this way, its check fails and it stops working, and we don't support it. Restoring the copy we supplied makes it work again. The licence check tells us whether your copy has been changed. It never sends what you changed.
The licence ends if you break these terms, and when a purchase is refunded or charged back. The copy then stops running.
Refunds
If you buy as a consumer, 14 days from purchase, in full, no questions, even after you've downloaded Product development. You can get a full refund of a licence year within 30 days of its start. After 30 days, your one-year contract commitment becomes final and irrevocable, instalments included. It is one press, from any of three places: the Your Product development email, your download page, or Your copy in the dashboard. We refund to your payment method. The licence ends when the refund is made. The refund policy has the whole of it.
No warranty
Product development is provided as is. Polyglyph Analytica does not promise that it will build the product you want, that anything it builds is fit for a particular purpose, or that it is free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Polyglyph Analytica is not liable for any loss arising from its use, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law where you live gives you as a consumer.
Your data
What you build stays on your computer and in your own repositories. What leaves your computer, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
The law
These terms and the licence are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you buy as a consumer you also keep the protection of the law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
Changes
The terms on this page on the day you buy are the ones that apply to your purchase. If they change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change never takes away a licence already bought.
